DMLC Part II caveat under bareboat

When a vessel is registered under a bareboat arrangement, the DMLC (Declaration of Maritime Labour Compliance) Part II names the shipowner in the sense of the bareboat charterer — not the parent-flag registered owner. Seafarers on board should verify which entity is named as the operator + financial- security provider on the DMLC in the event of an MLC A2.5.2 abandonment claim.
