Community forum

Open discussion forum for working seafarers, cadets, and shore-side maritime staff. Categories cover wages and contracts, ports and routes, training and STCW, gear and onboard life, and a free-for-all general thread. Reading is always open. Posting requires a free account; new accounts have light rate-limiting until you have a few posts of history.

For crisis-grade support — abandonment, unpaid wages, mental health — go to helplines first; the forum is for general discussion, not emergencies.

Posting requires reading the community rules — no doxxing, no unsupported accusations, no fake job offers, no recruitment-fee solicitation, no medical/legal advice as certainty.
