TUI Cruises is the joint venture between Germany's TUI Group and Royal Caribbean Group, operating the Mein Schiff fleet of 7 modern ships targeted at the German-language market. Crew contracts run 5-8 months with mid-to-high pay tier. German-language operations — guest-facing staff need working German, back-of-house can operate in English. Crew recruitment leans on Eastern European (Romania, Croatia, Bulgaria, Hungary), Filipino, Indonesian, and Indian manning agencies. German officer-cadet pipeline through Bremen / Hamburg / Rostock maritime institutes.
