Mooring with both bow anchors set roughly 180 deg apart, restricting the swing circle in tight anchorages.
Used in narrow anchorages with reversing tide. Two anchors set 180° apart; the chain-locker accumulates twist as the vessel rotates with each tidal change. Mate clears the chains by paying out one cable as the bridle takes over.
