MLC 2006 is the ILO convention consolidating ~68 earlier maritime labour instruments into a single mandatory framework. Titles 1-5 cover minimum age + medical certification (Title 1), conditions of employment (Title 2 — SEA + wages + repatriation + financial security), accommodation + food (Title 3), medical care + welfare + social security (Title 4), and compliance + enforcement (Title 5).
