Cavotec MoorMaster vacuum mooring system replacing conventional lines at certain ferry, container, RoRo, and bulk berths. Vacuum pads on the quay attach to the vessel's hull plating, eliminating the need for ship's lines and significantly reducing turnaround time. The system also dampens surge and swell motions. Installations exist in Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, the Netherlands, and elsewhere.
