Ever Ace is the lead ship of Evergreen's A-class series, an 23,992 TEU ULCV built by Samsung Heavy Industries in 2021. At delivery she was tied as the world's largest container ship by capacity. The vessel operates Asia-Europe loops and reflects the post-2020 era of LNG-ready (though not yet LNG-fuelled) ULCV design.

Lashing and stack-strength considerations are nuanced — at 24,000 TEU, the trade-off between maximum loadable and safe sea-state operating curve is finer than on smaller tonnage.
