At delivery she was the world's largest cruise ship by gross tonnage (236,857 GT) and passenger capacity (5,734 lower berth, 9,288 maximum). She combines Royal Caribbean's signature Oasis-class features — multiple themed neighbourhoods, Central Park-style open-air promenade, AquaTheater amphitheatre — with a 7-deck Suite Class for premium passengers.
Oasis-class crews number roughly 2,300 people across hotel, marine, and engineering departments.
