Overview
Navantia Ferrol is the northern shipyard of Spain's state-owned Navantia group, in Ferrol, Galicia. Primarily a naval builder — of frigates (including the F-110 class), amphibious ships, and, historically, aircraft carriers — it also fabricates offshore-wind foundations and substations, applying its heavy-steel and systems-integration capability to the renewables market. It is a cornerstone of Spanish naval shipbuilding and export programmes.
