Overview
Beşiktaş Shipyard is a Turkish shipbuilding and ship-repair group with facilities at Yalova and in the Tuzla area near Istanbul. It builds oil and chemical tankers and other commercial tonnage and runs a substantial ship-repair, conversion, and maintenance business serving vessels transiting the Turkish Straits and the eastern Mediterranean. It is one of the larger names in Turkey's tanker-building and repair sector.
