Overview
CIMC Raffles Offshore is a heavy-engineering and offshore shipyard at Yantai in Shandong, China, part of the container-and-logistics conglomerate CIMC. It built its reputation on offshore drilling rigs — jack-ups and semi-submersibles — and has since diversified into offshore-wind installation vessels, large steel structures, and polar expedition cruise ships, delivering the first polar expedition cruise vessel built in China. Its dry docks and gantry cranes are among the largest in the region.
