Overview
Sanmar Shipyards is a Turkish tugboat specialist and one of the world's largest builders of tugs, with yards in the Altınova and Tuzla areas. Building almost exclusively to Robert Allan Ltd naval-architecture designs, Sanmar exports harbour, escort, and terminal tugs to operators on every continent, and has been a pioneer of fully electric and hybrid tugs, including battery-electric harbour tugs delivered for pioneering zero-emission port projects.
