Overview
Sedef Shipyard is a Turkish yard at Tuzla near Istanbul, one of the country's established shipbuilders. It is best known for delivering Color Line's Color Hybrid, at its launch the world's largest plug-in hybrid passenger ferry, and it builds ro-ro passenger ferries, ro-pax and vehicle carriers, and undertakes conversions. Turkey's Tuzla shipbuilding cluster, where Sedef sits, is a major centre for ferries, tankers, and specialised tonnage supplying European owners.
