Overview
Song Cam Shipyard is a modern shipbuilding yard in Hai Phong, northern Vietnam, operated as the Damen–Song Cam joint venture between the Netherlands' Damen Shipyards Group and Vietnamese partners. Opened in the mid-2010s on a greenfield site, it builds tugs, workboats, offshore-support vessels, and patrol and naval craft to standardised Damen designs, combining Dutch engineering and series-build methods with lower Vietnamese labour costs. It is one of the newer, more capable yards in Vietnam's shipbuilding sector.
