Overview

Mid-size gas carrier - bridge between VLGCs and smaller pressurised carriers. Semi-refrigerated design typical. Some MGCs carry ethylene at -104C or ammonia. Regional trades in confined seas where VLGC would not fit. Growing demand from Chinese and Indian ammonia and LPG imports.
