Sjømannskirken (the Norwegian Church Abroad) is the Lutheran Church of Norway's seafarer-welfare ministry, operating in around 80 cities worldwide. It serves Norwegian seafarers and the wider Norwegian community abroad. Centres are well-equipped and many double as social hubs for the Norwegian diaspora.

A Sjømannskirken centre offers wifi, café (often with traditional Norwegian food like vafler and waffles), quiet space, chapel, and chaplaincy. Larger centres in Houston, New York, Rotterdam, Singapore, and Dubai are major hubs.
Nothing required for visits. Centres expect a mix of Norwegian and international seafarers and operate in Norwegian and English.
