CIRM (Centro Internazionale Radio Medico)

Centro Internazionale Radio Medico is the Rome-based international radio-medical assistance centre providing free 24/7 medical advice to ships at sea, in any language. Established 1935, CIRM is the historical + most-used TMAS provider globally for merchant ships. Reachable by satellite phone (+39 06 5923333) or GMDSS. Every ship's medical officer/Master has direct access to CIRM for any medical event; consultations are logged in the ship's medical log per MLC A4.1.
