International Load Line Certificate is the statutory document evidencing that the ship complies with the 1966 International Convention on Load Lines. The certificate shows the load line marks (TF, F, T, S, W, WNA + timber marks where applicable) which define the maximum permissible draft in each zone + season. Issued by the flag administration or authorised class society after a survey. Expired or invalid Load Line Certificate is a PSC detention item. See /glossary/load-line-certificate for detail.
