Seafarer Employment Agreement is the individual employment contract that every seafarer must have per MLC 2006 Standard A2.1. Contains SEAM rank + vessel + duration + wages + hours + entitlements + repatriation. Retained onboard + a copy provided to the seafarer. Where a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) applies, the SEA references it + the CBA provisions supersede any less-favourable SEA provision.
