SEEMP — mandatory document under MARPOL Annex VI Reg. 26 detailing the operational measures the ship will implement to monitor and improve energy efficiency. SEEMP Part I covers operational measures (voyage planning, weather routing, hull/propeller cleaning, trim optimisation); SEEMP Part II covers IMO Data Collection System fuel consumption reporting; SEEMP Part III (effective 2023) covers CII compliance and corrective action where the ship is rated D for three years or E for one. The plan is approved by the Administration and reviewed at intermediate and renewal MARPOL surveys.
