Brisbane's Port of Brisbane is a container + bulk hub 25 km east of the CBD at Fisherman Islands. Shore leave requires the Maritime Crew Visa (MCV) + shore pass. Mission to Seafarers Brisbane runs a centre near the port with regular transport.
The port terminals are 25-35 minutes by taxi from central Brisbane, or via the Gateway Motorway. There is no rail service directly to the port; agent van or welfare-centre bus is the usual option.

Do: check the ship's schedule — Brisbane is a stopover for east-Asia to New Zealand loops so port time can be short.
