Do: use Grab; carry your seaman's book + ship's stamp at all times. Don't: criticise the Thai monarchy (legal consequences are real). Watch for: Thai immigration shore-pass enforcement is strict — log every departure and return. Pattaya is the principal crew-leisure destination from Laem Chabang; exercise judgement about nightlife districts.
