Documents you should not send too early
What to send, when, and to whom — to keep your identity documents under your control.
What it looks like
A recruiter requests originals or full scans before there is any signed contract.
Red flags
- Request for original passport / CDC / discharge book before contract.
- Request for full passport photo page + biometrics page + signature page in one image before contract.
- Request for bank details with login credentials.
- Request for medical / police records that they have no use for at this stage.
How to verify
- Send only minimal redacted CV first.
- Share document copies via expiring links or watermarked PDFs.
- Never courier originals to anywhere other than your own travel agent at the joining country.
