Overview
North of England P&I Association was founded in 1860 in Newcastle upon Tyne and was an International Group member until its 2023 merger with The Standard Club to form NorthStandard. Historically one of the larger International Group clubs, North covered about 140 million GT at the time of merger. The brand persists for some legacy policies during the run-off and as part of the NorthStandard combined entity.
