Overview
Cochin Shipyard at Kochi, Kerala, is India's largest commercial shipbuilder and the principal Indian shipbuilder of medium-sized commercial tonnage — bulk carriers, oil tankers, OSVs, ferry boats, and government / defence-customer vessels. Delivered India's first indigenous aircraft carrier INS Vikrant in 2022.
