Why it matters to seafarers
Mitsubishi's LNG carriers — many delivered in the early 2000s — are still trading globally. The yard's cargo-tank engineering (Self-supporting Prismatic IMO Type B and Moss-style) means more onboard manual checks than the more recent membrane systems.
