Summary

The Greek-flagged bulk carrier Sea Champion, carrying grain destined for the Republic of Yemen (Aden), was struck by two Houthi missiles in the Gulf of Aden. The strike ironically hit a vessel delivering humanitarian-adjacent cargo to Yemen; the Houthi movement subsequently apologised, calling the strike an error of identification. Damage was contained; the vessel completed her voyage. No crew casualties.
