Overview
Namura Shipbuilding of Osaka is a family-controlled specialist bulk-carrier builder with yards at Imari (Saga) and Norikura (Osaka). Founded in 1911, Namura is one of Japan's oldest continuously operating shipyards and has focused almost exclusively on Kamsarmax, Post-Panamax, and VLOC bulkers since the 1990s.
