Overview
Yangzijiang Shipbuilding, headquartered in Jiangyin, Jiangsu Province, is one of China's largest private-sector shipbuilders and the largest non-state-owned commercial yard in the country. Strong in mid-to-large container ships, Capesize bulk carriers, and a growing LNG-dual-fuel orderbook. Listed in Singapore since 2007 and a serial winner of major European container-ship orders.

Why it matters to seafarers
Many recently-built container ships in the European-operator fleets (CMA CGM, Hapag-Lloyd, Yang Ming, Wan Hai) came from Yangzijiang. The yard's engine-room arrangement and bridge fit is internationally standard (MAN-ES B&W + Furuno).
